Frequently asked questions

Q: Do you provide eye exams?

A: We don’t. However, we provide a full-service experience once you have prescription in hand. Contact your Optometrist or Ophthalmologist for an annual eye exam, and obtain a written prescription for eyewear and/or contact lenses. If you don’t have a written Rx, your doctor can fax it to us at 865-453-4987. Or, you can download and print our “Records Release Form.” Fill it out, fax it over, and we will do the leg work in securing your Rx from your doctor.

Q: Do I need an appointment?

A: No. Please feel free to stop by anytime. With that said, planning ahead never hurts, and you can save time by calling or emailing before you arrive so we can obtain prior authorization and/or description of benefits.

Q: How long will it take to get my glasses?

A: We offer same-day service through our in-store lab, which is available in most cases; or 2-3 days service for some. Other than that, it really depends. For instance, lenses with special coatings or specific materials requests may take longer.
